Despite picking up an injury, due to the hard practice court conditions, Woon Khe Wei plodded on in the women's doubles competition at the All England Championships at the National Indoor Arena at Birmingham.
However despite their best efforts, Khe Wei and her partner could not prevent Hong Kong's Poon Lok Yan/Tse Ying Suet from progressing into the second round, going down 21-16, 19-21,18-21 in a match where they could have won had it not been for the injury.
Thus all the women's doubles pairs from BAM have lost with the fate of the Ng sisters to be decided when most of Malaysia will be in slumberrland.
