The fairytale run of Liew Darren came to an abrupt end at the quarterfinal stage of the All England Championships at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham.
The 25 year old could not match the sheer speed and precision of Korea's Lee Hyun Il, going down 21-15,21-13.
Nonetheless Darren has created history as this is the first time he has made it to the last eight state ogf a Super and Premier Series event.
