QUARTERS BECKON FOR MIXED DOUBLES

Having safely negotiated their way past the Indian pair of V. Diju/Jwala Gutta, the Malaysian mixed doubles pair of Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying are relishing the chance of progressing into the last eight of the All England Championships.

The duo were surprised at the lack of opposition from the Indian duo, and are now three wins a piece in the six meetings.

Tomorrow they take on a Japanese pair that they defeated at the French Open last year and Peng Soon said they were confident of progressing.
